Mission Statement

To train, equip, and empower individuals to launch, design, and operate mobile and digital marketplaces that bring commerce, creativity, and community to every corner of culture.

Vision Statement

To redefine Main Street as a movement — making entrepreneurship accessible, portable, and purpose-driven through real-world training and activation experiences.

The ConcessionsDan Method

ConcessionsDan is more than concessions — it’s a mobile platform for entrepreneurship, workforce training, and economic development. Concessions Dan teaches participants to launch, design, and operate mobile and digital marketplaces — modular retail and brand-activation platforms that bring Main Street directly to people and platforms.

This includes:

Physical mobile setups (branded pop-ups, trailers, activations)

Digital storefronts and campaigns (social commerce, live selling, QR-driven orders)

Curated collaborations with partner brands, CPGs, and local makers.

We operate through connected revenue streams that fund our impact and sustain our mission.

Concessions Sales Our branded carts pop up at festivals, schools, and neighborhood events selling popcorn, snacks, and beverages. Participants manage real sales and customer engagement while learning operations, inventory management, and hospitality.

Sample Carts for Local Businesses We partner with local businesses to set up branded sample carts outside storefronts. We distribute product samples, collect sign-ups for mailing lists, and drive foot traffic — turning everyday marketing into a live neighborhood event.

Workforce Training Contracts ConcessionsDan partners with municipalities, workforce boards, and nonprofits to deliver 6–8 week certified training cohorts. Participants earn:

ServSafe Food Handler Certification

AI for Small Business & Digital Marketing

Fundraising Partnerships Schools, churches, and nonprofits can host ConcessionsDan carts for events or ongoing snack box subscription fundraisers. Each partner gets a custom landing page that generates ongoing revenue every time a supporter buys snacks online.

Digital Profit-Sharing Graduates and community partners manage digital storefronts tied to our e-commerce snack boxes. Each partner earns a percentage of sales. This ensures our ecosystem supports alumni long after graduation.

Main Street Made Mobile

ConcessionsDan is a mobile concessions and workforce training model designed to transform how people access entrepreneurial opportunity, workforce skills, and community connection. Using branded snack and sample carts, the program creates revenue while serving as classrooms for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Unlike traditional workforce development programs, ConcessionsDan provides real-world learning environments. Each cart is a business and a classroom, generating both income and hands-on workforce training. Participants gain practical experience in sales, hospitality, marketing, compliance, and customer engagement.

The program has dual impact:
• Economic: Creating jobs, revenue, and ownership pathways.
• Community: Supporting businesses, schools, and nonprofits with sampling carts, fundraisers, and partnerships.

Our Story

ConcessionsDan began on U Street in Washington, D.C., where founder Daniel Bradley first learned entrepreneurship working with elder cousins at vending tables. Later experiences with family-run catering businesses, including Muse Catering, shaped his understanding of how food and business intersect. With 20+ years leading nonprofits in violence prevention and entrepreneurship, Daniel repeatedly saw people eager for opportunity but lacking exposure to real business skills. ConcessionsDan was created as a bridge—a program where every cart is a classroom and every event is a training ground.

The Problem

Workforce programs are often classroom-heavy and disconnected from real business environments.
Aspiring entrepreneurs face barriers such as high startup costs and lack of mentorship.
Local businesses struggle to authentically connect with their communities and drive customer loyalty.

This results in individuals locked out of opportunity, businesses missing engagement platforms, and communities lacking accessible entrepreneurship pathways.

The Solution: Main Street Made Mobile

ConcessionsDan transforms snack carts into dual-purpose vehicles for training and commerce. Each branded cart sells snacks and beverages while doubling as a live entrepreneurship classroom.

Solutions Provided:
• Individuals: Affordable, accessible entry point into business skills.
• Businesses: Sample carts driving foot traffic, sign-ups, and buzz.
• Municipalities: Turnkey workforce training provider.
• Schools/Churches: Fundraising events plus digital subscription revenue.

Inspired by Proven Models, Reimagined for the community At ConcessionsDan, we draw inspiration from what works — but we remix it for real life.

Like Trader Joe’s, our model thrives on curated quality and community connection. We focus on private-label and featured partner products that we believe in, allowing us to control quality, improve margins, and tell authentic stories behind every sell. Each cart becomes a storefront of trusted, recognizable favorites — from popcorn and beverages to local maker collabs that carry hometown flavor.

Then, we took a page from the sample tables at big-box stores — turning that idea into a business service and a workforce opportunity. Our Sample Carts let local businesses meet their customers where they already are — on sidewalks, at events, in neighborhoods — with live tasting, giveaways, and direct sign-ups for loyalty programs and mailing lists.

Finally, we extended the experience online through our Digital Stores for Ambassadors. Graduates, schools, and nonprofit partners each get their own digital storefront where they can sell ConcessionsDan snacks, boxes, and subscriptions — earning a profit share on every sale. It’s community-powered e-commerce: part social enterprise, part microfranchise, all purpose-driven.

This combination — private-label quality, sample-driven engagement, and digital profit-sharing — gives ConcessionsDan a scalable, high-margin model rooted in authenticity and opportunity. It’s the next evolution of Main Street: made mobile, digital, and local all at once.
